On Days of our Lives, Steve Burton's Harris has found love with Ava Vitali. On General Hospital, Burton's Jason has no love life at all right now. However, off-screen, Burton has confirmed that he is happily dating Netflix star Michelle Lundstrom.
Burton, whose divorce from ex-wife Sheree was finalized late last year, revealed the news to Daily Drama. Lundstrom, an accomplished cook and recipe creator, was a contestant on season two of the Netflix competition series Barbecue Showdown. Lundstrom is such a foodie that her Instagram page is full of recipes, cooking demonstrations, and food reviews.
Burton was married to Sheree Gustin from 1999 until 2023, but the couple separated in 2022. News of the split came when Gustin announced her pregnancy and Burton clarified on social media that the baby wasn't his and that he and his wife were no longer together. Burton filed for divorce in July, but the papers listed their date of separation as March 1.
Burton and Gustin share three children together, daughters Makena and Brooklyn, and son Jack.
In December of 2023, People reported that Burton's divorce was final, with both parties agreeing to joint custody of their two minor children at the time, Jack and Brooklyn. They also share a 19-year-old daughter named Makena. Jack turned 18 in March of this year.
Burton recently made his GH comeback as Jason Morgan after leaving the soap in 2021 when he declined to be vaccinated against COVID-19, despite Disney/ABC's vaccine mandate. The mandate has since been lifted, so Jason is back in Port Charles. The actor has been seen on two soaps concurrently since Jason's return. He wrapped up his stint as DAYS' Harris Michaels in December but is set to air into June, as the soap tapes about half a year ahead.
