General Hospital has once again dug into the One Life to Live pool of fan favorite actors and cast Jessica Tuck (ex-Megan Gordon) as a character named Cassandra Pierce.
The actress makes her debut today, Wednesday, September 20, in the recurring role said to be a jewel thief Anna (Finola Hughes) wants Finn (Michael Easton) to help investigate in the hopes of taking down Valentin (James Patrick Stewart).
"Soaps are where I started, so it always feels like coming home," she told Soaps In Depth of joining GH. "Especially in this case because executive producer Frank Valentini and I basically started together. On One Life to Live he was a production assistant when I was first starting. Coming back and being able to work with Frank, it's a privilege. It's so much fun."
Though Tuck also starred as Days of our Lives' Madeline Woods and Sunset Beach's Diane Wood, she is best known to daytime audiences as her OLTL character Megan, who died of lupus in the early '90s. She also starred on many primetime shows like Murder One, Judging Amy, Saving Grace, and True Blood.
As for what fans can expect from Cassandra as the storyline unfolds, Tuck teases: "There's more to her than may initially meet the eye. That's all I'm at liberty to reveal!"
