Something wicked this way comes, and it's none other than conniving General Hospital character Cassandra Pierce. Actress Jessica Tuck is reprising the role of the Port Charles villainess, and it's all happening this week.
According to TV Insider, Tuck will be back in the shoes of her GH alter ego this Thursday, August 1. As viewers of the ABC soap may recall, Cassandra was last seen almost one year ago, being driven away in a car as the guest of a mystery man who just happened to be wearing a Cassadine clan ring...
As for how Tuck feels about being back, she admits that it's a bit of a surprise, considering Cassandra's bad, bad behavior.
"She didn't have many redeeming qualities, but there's something sort of fun about that, too, playing someone who's really, really despicable," she enthuses. "Having been a vampire on True Blood, ruthlessness is in my wheelhouse. Perhaps, we'll get a tiny peek at some other parts of her character? I'm not hinting at anything. I'm just throwing it out there. Who knows?"
Tuck made her GH debut back in September of 2017. She is best known to daytime fans for her role as One Life to Live's Megan Gordon, who tragically died of lupus in the early 1990s. Her other soap roles include Days of our Lives' Madeline Peterson Woods and Sunset Beach's Diane Wood.
