With the amount of shady and down-right naughty dealings that take place in Genoa City, you might wonder why there aren't more judges and lawyers in town. Well, that's about to change.
According the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, the CBS soap is searching for an African-American actor in the 40 to 50 age range to play an "intelligent, no-nonsense judge" for at least five episodes.
At this time, there's no word on how a new Genoa City judge might affect the status of the town's most recently seen judge, Her Honor Elise Moxley (played by Jensen Buchanan), nor is there information on exactly what will be bringing this new judge to a courtroom in Genoa City. But considering this is Y&R, one can only imagine it'll be quite juicy!
What do you think about Y&R hoping to cast an African-American to play the part of a judge? What do you think would feed the need for another judge in town?
