Business is the name of the game on The Young and the Restless, and one of Genoa City's most successful companies is hiring a new employee.
Soap Opera Digest reports that Abhi Sinha has been cast to play the new character, whose name is Ravi Shapur. No other details about the fictional worker have been released, other than that he'll be appearing in multiple episodes beginning Monday, December 12.
"I've finally broken the mold. Sort of," Sinha wrote on Twitter. "Indian Americans in a daytime drama."
The Bombay-born actor's past credits include The Social Network, The Conjuring II, NCIS, Scorpion, and Freeform's Chasing Life.
