The Young and the Restless will air a very special stand-alone episode on Christmas Day -- Monday, December 25.
The episode is being called a gift to fans, so in the spirit of the season, we're not going to give too many details about what will happen. Think of this as us shaking the box and hoping that there's nothing breakable inside.
Here's what we can reveal: the special episode will be divided into four vignettes, each themed after a classic Christmas song. The characters involved in the vignettes, in alphabetical order, are Billy, Hilary, Mariah, Nikki, Phyllis, and Sharon. There also could be other characters popping up as well.
If you will be celebrating the holiday with family and loved ones and will be unable to watch Y&R live, be sure to set your DVR or VCR (We're not judging -- and maybe Santa will bring you a DVR next year!).
