"Extra, extra! Read all about it!" Some major news is heading to The Young and the Restless' Genoa City, and the CBS soap opera has scooped up real-life television news anchors to help dish out the dirt.
Official show teasers reveal that Entertainment Tonight anchor Nischelle Turner and CBS Los Angeles anchor/reporter Suzanne Marques will both be appearing on the episode scheduled to air on Friday, February 8.
Turner may look familiar not only from her position as an anchor on Entertainment Tonight, but also because she's an entertainment correspondent for CNN and HLN's Showbiz Tonight. One of her most recent soap-related stories was an interview with All My Children alum Michael B. Jordan (ex-Reggie Montgomery), which can be viewed below.
Marques is an Emmy-winning journalist who delivers news on CBS's Eye on Entertainment and works as a correspondent for CBS Newspath nationwide and KCAL9 in Los Angeles. She shared a behind-the-scenes photo from her tape day at Y&R, revealing that fans have Christian LeBlanc (Michael Baldwin) to thank for the sneak peek pic.
Y&R is remaining mum about what exactly brings the TV journalists to the screen, but there are several possibilities that could warrant major GC news coverage, including the truth about J.T.'s disappearance finally coming to light, Summer Newman (Hunter King) returning to town, and Kerry (Alice Hunter) carrying a big secret that could be exposed.
