Asa showed up at the gala with two handguns and aimed them at Todd and Blair. The family thought Asa was crazy. Asa shot at Todd when he broke into the mansion. Blair didn't want the mansion anymore.
Antonio and Sonia arrived at the gala and witnessed Jessica dancing with Tico. Antonio told Sonia he could be swayed to the Santis' life. Tico kissed Jessica. Jessica kissed him back. Antonio and Sonia also shared a kiss.
Dorian was concerned about Adriana and Duke's budding feelings. Kelly was looking more and more to David for a shoulder.
Viki interrupted Tico and Jessica kissing. Jessica at first refused to explain to Viki what was going on but soon told all. Jessica explained to Viki that Antonio had pushed everyone away, including Jamie by leaving her with R.J., but he had not pushed Sonia away. Viki believed that all Antonio needed was time. Antonio visited Jessica at the gala, but he was not allowed to enter. He sent a message on a napkin to her.
Tico found Jessica reading the note. Jessica lied to Tico and went to meet Antonio. Tico picked up the napkin and saw Antonio's note. Antonio told Jessica he needed time. Jessica refused to put her life on hold until Antonio figured out what he wanted. Tico was not happy. Tico arranged for him and Jessica to have a suite. Tico proposed marriage to Jessica. Jessica ran away from Tico without an answer. Tico vowed to himself that Jessica would marry him.
Natalie saw Antonio kissing Sonia. Natalie voiced her concern for Antonio and her disapproval of his behavior toward Jessica. John found Natalie berating Antonio. John told Natalie that he also didn't understand what was happening to Antonio. Natalie got a feeling that John was annoyed about something.
John mentioned to Natalie that Evangeline was traveling on business. Natalie made a remark about there being a phone where Evangeline was if he wanted to talk about what was bothering him. Paul asked for Natalie's help, but she wanted nothing to do with him. John and Paul got into a physical altercation. Natalie realized that all Paul had ever wanted was her money. John invited Natalie to watch a movie with him.
Todd escaped from Asa's mansion before Bo and Nora entered. Asa looked crazy because he swore that he'd shot Todd and killed him. Sonia helped Todd after he got into a car accident. Blair went to get Todd at Lion's Heart. Todd told Blair that he suspected an alliance with Kevin and Tico. Todd asked Blair to search the house. Blair refused because she feared for Todd's life and believed he had gone too far in trying to get the mansion from Asa. As Todd and Blair were leaving Lion's Heart, Antonio appeared at the door.
Even though Sonia was completely aware that Antonio was anything but "over" Jessica, she couldn't help but be drawn closer to him.
The Fed, Eleanor, warned Sonia that she would be removed from the case unless she uncovered some solid information that would expose El Tiburon. Meanwhile, Todd promised Blair that he'd drop his vendetta against Kevin but, realistically, had no intention of doing that.
In an attempt at independence from Kevin, Kelly gave her wedding ring to Viki and accepted a job offer at the university. Harrison extended a dinner invitation to Viki, who seriously considered. Kevin later connected with Harrison and warned him about the dangers of dealing with Todd.
Marcie tried to negotiate a peace treaty between her brother, Eric, and her father, Ralph. Her father said that although he loved all of his children very much, he just couldn't accept the idea of his son marrying his gay lover. Dorian found it impossible to accept Adriana's attraction to Duke and forbade them from seeing each other again.
Jessica and Antonio confessed their love for one another, but he again shut her out. After telling Antonio they obviously had no future together, Jessica went to Tico and accepted his marriage proposal. After getting a frightening glimpse of Tico's dark side, Sonia made love with Antonio.
Paul turned on the charm to get an unsuspecting Lindsay right where he needed her. He walked her home, reeling her in the whole way. Later, he stole her key and got a peek at her security access code at the gallery.
Adriana and Duke let Dorian's insistence they stop seeing other go in one ear and out the other. Natalie admitted to John that she'd never stopped loving him. Evangeline arrived on the scene and was left somewhat disheartened when she witnessed John and Natalie's undeniable closeness.
While Antonio was at the church, Angelina's ghost visited him and asked him to avenge her murder at Tico's hands. She later paid him another visit and warned him that Tico was a dangerous man who was bent on destroying him. Antonio later had an encounter with Carlotta, who was devastated by his very cold shoulder.
Viki was totally caught off guard by Jessica's announcement that she and Tico were engaged. Jessica wanted to speed up the process and agreed that she and Tico should get married as soon as possible. Meanwhile, David and Dorian wondered whatever became of the missing Santi treasure trove.
Bo and Kevin tried to carefully break the news to Asa that they were admitting him into the hospital for observation. Asa put up a fight, but Nora convinced him it was for his own good. To spend time with Bo and Asa, she ended up canceling her weekend getaway with Daniel, which didn't sit well with him.
