Jack insisted they go home because he was tired, but Nikki claimed she wasn't tired. She'd just gotten into the swing of things. Nikki went to the dance floor and began gyrating to the music. She danced her way to Victor's table and sat down. She removed her earrings and dropped them into Cassandra's drink, and she returned to the dance floor, where she unzipped her dress and took it off. Nikki kept watching Victor.

Nikki expressed her relief at being alone with Victor, and she said that it had been a long time. She thanked him for reuniting the family and said that Victor marrying her had given her the will to fight; he had saved her life. Nikki thanked him.

This episode originally aired September 5, 2002. In the episode, Victor and Nikki were remarried at the iconic Colonnade Room.
At the Colonnade Room, a tuxedo-clad Victor prepared for his wedding to Nikki. Victoria told him that he was looking good, and she asked if he was nervous. He replied that he was steady as a rock, but he voiced concern about what was bothering her brother. Victoria fibbed that she didn't know, and Victor figured that it was just his imagination. Victoria squirmed. In the bridal suite, Nikki adjusted Nick's tie and squealed that she had to pinch herself. He assumed that she was excited for the wedding, but she also referred to his and Sharon's plans for their bundle of joy. Nick hid his discomfort. Cassie arrived at the door, and Nikki welcomed her junior bridesmaid. Nick gushed that Cassie looked great, and he requested that she give her old man a hug. They embraced, but she protested that it would mess up her dress. He apologized and assured her that she looked beautiful.
